About Us
From humble beginnings in 1977, Nobska Craftsmen has been a
family-owned small business known for its hand-engraved Flower of the Month
jewelry and keepsakes. Since then, we have grown and evolved into a line
of jewelry created for the modern woman.
Born and raised in Williamsburg, Virginia, Caitlin Rudders
is the face behind Nobska Craftsmen. Granddaughter of one of the first
metalsmiths for the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, Caitlin creates pieces of
jewelry for the traditional and the bohemian woman. A self-proclaimed
self-taught crafter inspired by the natural world, architectural details, and
the clean beauty of geometric shapes, each piece of Nobska jewelry is
thoughtfully handcrafted using a mix of metals, materials, and finishes.
Gemstones, leather, paper beads, and 2-part epoxy resin often find their way
into collections, adding texture, color, and story.
Whether it's crafted from sterling silver or fine pewter,
Nobska Craftsmen jewelry is a timeless classic enjoyed by
multi-generations. Each hand engraved piece is cut with painstaking
detail and care by some of America's finest hand engravers. Each hand
stamped piece has been stamped using individual letters and designs. Each
bracelet has been cut and finished by hand. Each piece wrapped with
gemstones, has been wrapped by hand.
Remember...
"When you buy from a maker,
You're buying more than just an object.
You're buying hundreds of hours of
failures & experimentation.
You're buying days, weeks, & months of
frustration & moments of pure joy.
You're not just buying a thing.
You are buying a piece of heart, a part of a soul, a moment of someone's life.
Most importantly...
You are buying the maker
more time to do something they love." ~ Anonymous
